Check out these clubs... great taste... less filling!

Been back home for a few days. Hawaii was great but it's nice to be back home. Thanks to all who have been keeping up with my island adventures. Been trying to motivate myself to update the journal... but work, and other errands have been getting in the way. It's nice to be back home and relax too. Have several Soprano's episodes to catch up on. Also been trying to go through the rest of my pics to see if there's anything else from Hawaii that I want to post.

and I took a day to go enjoy some of the Alaska countryside. We found this beautiful young bald eagle that seemed to want to pose for us. He was very large. His talons were lethal. You should check out some of his eagle pics. Here's one:


Ol' F5M couldn't resist trying to get a better angle on the eagle... so he quietly tried to get closer... but the bird wasn't having it. I think it went to go on his truck.



has other eagle pics... but hasn't posted any... so you should send him a note and harass him until he does... but he did make a new avatar for me... so don't give him that hard of a time. He tries.


's mother made some good 's We stopped in to say hi. Just wanted to say her cookies were good.

Laura is heading out again. Her work is sending her down to Nevada for 9 days or so. This time I'm staying at home. I need to get me a job that sends me all over the country for weeks at a time. That would be great... yeah.

Going to Indiana at the end of the month. I doubt I'll have great photo-ops like I did in Hawaii... but it will be a fun time. My mother turns 60, and it will be nice to see the fam. I don't get to see her as much as I like... so it will be nice to be back home for a bit and spend some time with her. We'll see if there's anything to shoot there... but then again... there's a reason I live in Alaska and not in the midwest. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's where I'm from and there's the fam... and the Colts... but stay in Alaska for a summer and you'll know what I mean.

Speaking of summer in AK, our friends have a cabin on Big Lake and we will be opening it soon!!! I can't wait. Well that's all for now. Hopefully I will post more soon.
